La Vivaistica D’Andrea, azienda a conduzione familiare, affonda le sue radici nella secolare tradizione vivaistica di Rauscedo. Fondata nel 1977, oggi è guidata da Giuseppe D'Andrea assieme ai figli Davide, Debora, e con l’ormai decennale direzione del dott. Gianpaolo D'Agnolo. Forte di questa esperienza, sempre con uno sguardo rivolto al futuro tra innovazione tecnica e collaborazioni con le principali istituzioni di ricerca scientifica, la Vivaistica D’Andrea produce 4 milioni di barbatelle innestate l’anno con oltre 80 varietà diverse di vite, posizionandosi come azienda leader del settore. La conduzione di 50 ettari di piante madri portinnesto, 50 ettari tra vigneto e marze e 30 ettari di vivaio tenuti costantemente sotto il proprio controllo durante tutto il ciclo vegetativo, garantisce alla Vivaistica D’Andrea di immettere sul mercato materiale di propagazione altamente selezionato. Vi fornirà assistenza tecnica nelle fasi di pre-impianto e di allevamento della vite. La Vivaistica D'Andrea, inoltre, è in grado di riprodurre qualsiasi biotipo autoctono che rivesta per il cliente particolare interesse e con la possibilità di poterlo visionare in vivaio durante qualsiasi fase vegetativa, così da soddisfare una richiesta sempre più attenta e mirata alla salvaguardia di un patrimonio viticolo che altrimenti andrebbe perduto.

 

Vine Cutting Nursery

Vivaistica D’Andrea is a family run business, rooted in the 100-year-old tradition of the Rauscedo vine cutting nurseries. Founded in 1977, it is now in the hands of the new generations- Giuseppe D'Andrea and his children, Davide and Debora, with the agronomist Gianpaolo D'Agnolo, who has worked for the company for nearly 20 years. With such long-term experience, Vivaistica D'Andrea looks to the future, both with our technical innovation and our ongoing collaboration with major institutions of scientific research. Our company produces 4 million rooted grafts per year, with over 80 different varieties of vines, making it one of the leading companies in the sector. There are 50 hectares of rootstock nurseries, 50 hectares of vineyards and vine mother grafts, and 30 hectares of rooted grafts, all under constant quality control during the entire cycle of production. This allows Vivaistica D’Andrea to put our own selected rooted grafts on the market, guaranteed to be entirely healthy, free of viruses, pests and disease. Our rooted grafts are certified to a very high-quality standard, from the sanitary, genetic and productive points of view. Vivaistica D’Andrea offers a complete range of client services. We will guide you in selecting the variety, clones and rootstock in order to meet all your needs. We will provide you with the technical service you require during the phases of pre-planting, and follow-up recommendations for care of the vines. What’s more, Vivaistica D’Andrea is able to reproduce indigenous vines, or your own biotype, through the selection of top graft cuttings of particular interest. We offer you the opportunity to inspect them in the nursery during each and any phase of growth, in order to satisfy the demand for an ever more attentive and specific safeguarding of the viticultural heritage, which otherwise might be lost.
